Columbus Blue Jackets prospect Steve Mason stopped 45-of-47 shots to lead Canada to a 4-2 victory over Russia in the fourth game of the Canada Russia Super Series in Omsk, Russia Saturday. Stefan Legein, the Blue Jackets’ second pick, 37th overall, in the 2007 Entry Draft has his three-game goal streak snapped and was whistled for six penalty minutes.

Another great game by the Jackets 3rd round pick from the 2006 draft. This guy certainly seem to have "it" -- lets hope the Jackets brass remains patient with him and lets him bake properly in the system and in the next few years we could possibly have that franchise goaltender on our hands.
Legein, 2nd round pick from this year's draft (as mentione above) also continues to impress with his sandpaper game. The guy patterns himself after Sean Avery and looks to definitely have that agitating element in his game. I've personally been impressed w/ his scoring touch both in this series and what I saw at prospect camp. He's definitely a couple of years away but is off to a nice start in international competition and its no easy task cracking any Canadian National Team, let alone playing a big role, when it comes to men's hockey.
