Norrena injured?

According to Porzline's blog Fredrik Norrena is day to day:

Goaltender Fredrik Norrena "tweaked" a knee in practice on Thursday, coach Ken Hitchcock said. Norrena is expected to return to practice, the coach said, on Sunday or Monday

So another veteran goes down. I'm not liking this trend but would rather it be preseason than regular season. Hopefully all these guys, Peca-Foote-Modin-Norrena, heal up and leave the injuries behind them. Norrena was pretty durable last year.

A positive though is this is exactly why GM Scott Howson went out and signed NHL depth players like Jan Hejda, Jiri Novotny and Sheldone Brookbank b/c there will be injuries throughout the season and we don't want to rely on non-experienced NHLers to fill every gap due to injury this season.

I feel much better about our depth now than at any other time in our short history.
