A little hockey Buckeye news for you today:
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The fourth-annual Ohio Hockey Classic, hosted by Ohio State, has been moved to Value City Arena in Columbus because of a scheduling conflict. The tournament still will be held Dec. 29-30.
I guess the bright side here is that it certainly comes in handy to have two facilities in central Ohio that can host such an event. I try to attend the Ohio Hockey Classic every year and its a fun low expense event that features some high quality hockey. It was fun to have it held in Nationwide but unfortunately scheduling conflicts happen.
The Buckeye's hockey season kicks off against hockey collegiate power Wisconsin October 12th at the Lefty McFadden College Hockey Invitational in Dayton.
