Just a quick note that the new Blue Jackets jerseys are available to buy today at all the Blueline (or should say FSN Ohio Bluelines - need a sponsor for everything) locations throughout Columbus.
It will be fun to see how these jerseys look live for the first time this Sunday.
Also another interesting nugget I just read from the Globe and Mail:
NHL Network will launch in the United States in time for the start of the regular season, sources say. The network, which operates out of Toronto, will air basically the same programming in the United States as it does in Canada.
I don't anticipate Time Warner picking this up anytime soon but it would be nice if we could opt for it in some kind of sports package in the near future. For now, we'll all have to settle for it at the RBar Arena - things could certainly be a lot worse than watching hockey there with Mike, Natalie and the gang - that's for sure!
