Stat(s) of the day

In case you missed it Puck-rakers reported the following:

Last night, Blue Jackets' captain Rick Nash became the first NHL player to record an unassisted hat trick since Maurice "Rocket" Richard did it for the Montreal Canadiens on March 14, 1948, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

Also -- Vermette played 18:02 with 3:51 on the PK and 1:14 on the PP. He was a +1 and had an assist. 10-20 on faceoffs.

Nash looked good.
Vermette looked good.
Everyone was clicking on all cylinders.

I'm not convinced Mason is 100%, but 2 GAA isn't something to worry about (unless we go back to our goal drought).

This is the team I want to follow into the postseason. I don't know who was playing in Nashville a few nights ago...
