Live and learn

The Jackets lived though a tough game in St. Louis last night but there is a lot they can learn from it.

First off.. .that is the kind of hostile atmosphere the Jackets are going to encounter for every road game in the playoffs. They can't get rattled... Among other things they have to battle through absolutely atrocious officiating and come out on the other side. They are going to need to figure out how to raise their level of play to match the other team's intensity and desperation and keep the game within reach.

Everyone knew that game last night was a tough draw and that is exactly how it played out.

That's okay as long as you learn from it and move on.

The Jackets have done a lot of learning this season and the best part about is that they have done a lot of moving on as well.

Now it's time and focus on getting a point of the Wild to secure that 6th playoff position.

The biggest key tonight is for the Jackets to feed off the energy of a sold out hyped up Nationwide Arena crowd. The Wild are done.. their playoff chances are over. The Jackets have the most to play for now and they can't let the Wild play spoiler.

I also wanted to mention what a great job the Jackets Backers did last night with their game viewing party. In fact they've done a fabulous job all seasons with their events. I would encourage all you fans out there to become members as it really is a fun and well run booster club.

Sorry for the short post today but I'm headin on down to the Arena District to start soaking this one up!

Hope to see you at the R or Garage! Look for the "Jacket".

GO JACKETS!!
