The NHL suspended LA Kings defensemen Denis Gauthier for 5 games for his blow to the head of Canadiens' forward Josh Gorges.
Regehr on the other hand....4 minute high sticking penalty.
I don't get it. Maybe I'm just a homer.

If you can explain the NHL enforcement policy you're a better man than I. And it has nothing to do with being a homer. Solomon in his wisdom couldn't explain it.
They're simply going to do whatever they're going do and it doesn't have to make any sense. That's been proven.
