By now most of you have probably heard the slam Tiger Woods layed on the NHL when asked who he would like to see win the Stanley Cup, Pittsburgh or Detroit? His response:
"I don't really care. Let's talk about the Dodgers," he laughed. "I don't think anybody really watches hockey anymore."
All kinds of thoughts passed through my mind when I read that little nugget but I could never top this doozy...from ESPN.com of all places.
For a great read be sure to check it out here.

It was certainly an odd thing for Tiger to make a controversial comment-even if it is only about a sport, but let's not get carried away. Hank Haney, Tiger's coach, is a HUGE hockey fan--likely cheering for the Wings (since he grew up in Detroit). I am sure that dig about hockey was as much directed at Hank as anything.
The letter would be okay if it wasn't so silly. Too much exaggeration and hyperbole. If the intent was to match one ridiculous comment with another--mission accomplished.
