I love the fact that he has a quick release on his shot. He's not adverse to throwing a puck at the net, and by that I don't mean 2 feet outside the net as we've seen far too often. While he will hold the puck & deke a goalie out of his shorts more often than not he just puts the puck on goal. Oh how I've longed to see one timers from the blue Jackets.
I'm loving what I'm seeing of this guy: with the puck on his stick, he seems to combine the creativeness of Nikki with the patience of Vybes! Can't get much better than that!
I keep hearing the goal horn when he skates. I am getting the feeling we'll be hearing a lot more cannon fire in the Nat this year with him on the ice.
