As you've probably heard by now Hitch has been named as an assistant coach to the 2010 Team Canada Olympic team.
That is one helluva an honor and just goes to show we have one of the best coaching right here in Columbus.
Now maybe he can steal some PP strategies from Babcock.... that or sneak a Lidstrom back in his duffle bag.

This is great PR for the Columbus Blue Jackets. I am pleased for Hitch because he really seems to thrive on coaching for Canada. The guy is a big "homer" in that regard. Also great that the CBJ are finally starting to get some respect around the league and the hockey world. The recent awards and now this.
(How come Claude Noel didn't get the PP coaching spot? Oh, wait.....where was the CBJ ranked last season in that area? Send him to Canada and leave him there.)
