LTL, fellow readers,
Just wanted to provide you with the following nugget... as I was listening to Vancouver's Sports radio online yesterday, they were broadcasting from the arena in the all-day pregame show.. They mentioned that Stralman was the last player on the ice, he was being put through a bagging session by the coaching staff and was throwing up on the Canucks' home bench.... you have to love old-school coaching.. atta boy Hitch...
@eplagge: Welcome to Hitchockey and the Blue Jackets, Stralman!! Hee, hee, hee..... (He'll be a better man (and D-man) for it. I bet Hitch will improve his game, I just bet on that.)
Great game last night, eh?
I agree, I can't wait to see Stralman play... I have to keep in mind he's still somewhat of a rookie but he's generally considered to be a better rookie then Russell. He should have a better skillset then Russell, if Hitch can round out his game we could have a really good Offensive-Defenseman.. I still think Little Shake can become a very good Offensive Defenseman but he's developing a bit slow for my taste, maybe with Stralman's arrival he feels the heat and takes some big steps this year... Regarding Stralman it's most likely success or fail... he fits a need we have, it's his last year on the EL-contract and he's probably going to get plenty of icetime.. If he doesn't show us something I think he will have a though time plotting out a long term NHL career and I bet he knows it.. However he has been handpicked by the almighty Howsen, so this kid must be good...
