10 bold predictions

Okay some of these aren't exactly bold but here you go:

1. Derick Brassard leads the team in points.

2. The last remaining original Jacket, Rusty Klesla, is traded at the NHL deadline.

3. Rick Nash wins the Rocket Richard trophy and cracks the 50 goal plateau for the first time in his career.

4. The Jackets powerplay finishes top 15 in the league.

5. Alexandre Picard scores his first NHL goal.

6. Jan Hejda scores over 5 goals.

7. Opening night does not sell out (c'mon Columbus faithful - prove me wrong!).

8. The R Bar is voted best hockey bar in the United States.

9. The Jackets only lose 12 or less games at home.

10. The Jackets advance to the 2nd round of the playoffs beating the Red Wings in the first round.

HM: Jakub Voracek shaves his head.

Fire away - what are your bold predictions for this season?

Hmmmm..... Bold predictions or hallucinations. Not certain which for some of your comments! Jake shaves his head!!! Come on! Now the Jackets losing 12 games or less at home, that's a slam dunk! LOL

(I hope most of your hallucinations--er--predictions come true. What a season this would be. GO JACKETS!!

Rusty is NOT an original BlueJacket ...

@wesley: Klesla played 8 games in 2000-2001 for the Columbus Blue Jackets, how is that not original? Unless you have some trick reasoning.

I predict Modin plays one game this season and Filatov gets 50 points if and only if he plays 80% of his games on the first or second line.
