Yeah I think that Tampa Bay would trade the #1 pick for Duvie Westcott and a box of Krispy Kremes...

Maybe they would trade the #1 pick for Luongo or Lundqvist... and 1st-round picks for the next two years...

I know it sounds crazy, but do you think there is like a 0.005% chance that they don't take Stamkos? I mean, aren't they lacking serious defense/goalies? I know there aren't any great-looking goalies in the top of the draft, but maybe (MAYBE) they opt for a D-man instead?

Although supposedly Stamkos is good enough to keep the puck away from his goalie for very long...

Douglas - if only Doug MacLean was part owner of that franchise, then I may give it a .005% chance :)

Unfortunately short of Sidney Crosby or Alex Ovechkin going the other way I think there is zero chance Tampa trades this pick.

I'm sure Howson will make a call just to dot the I's and cross the T's.
