Pre-game thoughts: Avalanche look for some payback

The Colorado Avalanche make their second visit to Nationwide Arena this month and will have payback on the mind. The Jackets over came a 3-1 third period deficit in one of the greatest come backs in Jackets history to knock off the Avalanche for just the 3rd time in their history.

The Jackets themselves will be looking at this game as a chance to rebound off of two losses - the last of which was an OT loss to Anaheim.

Keys to lighting em up

Shut down Statsny and Smyth. Both of these guys were key contributors last night out.

Keep PP momentum going from last game. Jackets PP did look better last time out and will need to build on that against a very potent offense.

Come out with energy. Don't let the Avalanche control this game with their style. We must dictate the flow and get on the board first.

Get Norrena some goal support.

PK must be special again. With NOvotny and Malhotra back the PK needs to regain its form. They gave up 3 PP goals to Anaheim and they can't afford to do that against a very potent Avalanche attack.

Should be a good one down at the 'nat. Jackets haven't been great thus far in this home stand going 1-1-2 and win would be a huge step towards improving that record.

Go Jackets!!
