Economy still right? Or wait... what was it again... the fans don't show up until the later rounds right?

Right.

Maybe they should start bussing in the central ohio turncoats.

Remember that if the Ducks make it to the finals the Jackets will move from the 16th to the 15th pick in the first round of the draft.

Go Ducks!

Its going to be interesting to see how attendance is next year. I can't imagine there will be many season ticket holders renewing, or able to afford season tickets. The recession is going to hurt them more next season.

I got the same email, but I assumed its because Anne & I dealt with setting up the Detroit trips for JacketBackers.

Seriously, the economy is much, much worse up in Detroit than here. Still, they eventually manage to fill all of the seats.

Stephen -- are you serious? I guarantee total butts in the seats, including season ticket holders, will be up significantly this year. There are more people enthused, and more with disposable income than you might imagine. After that Game 4, I bet renewals went up immediately.

Random thought -- why do all of the Detroit fans in Detroit wear Yzerman jerseys, and all of the Detroit fans here wear Datsyuk jerseys?
