Week 6 Power Rankings - what a difference a week makes

TSN.ca - down to 8 from 4
The Jackets have dropped four of five, albeit two of those losses have come via shootout, but it is reflective of the team's offensive woes. Beyond Rick Nash's 17 goals in 16 games, Nikolai Zherdev ranks second on the team with 11 points.

Sergei Fedorov is finally getting in gear with points in his past seven games. Problem is Columbus is still struggling on the road and particularly in shootouts, where they are losing crucial points.

CBC.ca - down to 11 from 5
Having troubles with the shootout..

CNNSI.com - down to 10 from 7
On Saturday and Monday, they dropped consecutive games to the Preds. That's not news. Columbus, 0-7-1 against Nashville last season, is 5-17-2 against its division foe since 2003-04. Despite last week's slide, I'm not about to abandon ship on Ken Hitchcock's crew.

FoxSports.com - Down 9 from 3
The Blue Jackets stumbled mightily in Week 6, losing all three games they played. After closing out October with four straight victories, the Jackets come into Week 7 losers of four of their last five.

THN.com - Down to 13 from 4
Three straight losses to Western teams

ESPN.com - drop to 12 from 10
The Jackets' run in the Top 10 was short-lived as they dropped three straight over the last week. And with Chicago, St. Louis and Detroit on tap over the next few days, things might get worse.

Dispatch.com - awaiting latest rankings

Average Power Rankings Score: 11.6 (5.375 last week)

Well when you lose 4 straight you expect a drop. I actually thought the drop may be a little more dramtic than 6 spots. If the Jackets turn in another week like last you can bet most of these rankers will abandon's coach Hitchcock's ship.
