Crunch blow 3-1 series lead

Just when things were looking good the Crunch lose in OT on Friday night and then blow a 1 goal lead in the 3rd and lose again on Saturday night.

Series now tied 3-3.

The Crunch have played seemingly every game with little or no room for error. That trend will pro baby continue as they will play Toronto, in Toronto, in a pivotal game 7 on Monday night.

The goods news is that some other players are starting to get on the scoreboard like Picard and Brule but the bad news is that the scoring from their main weapons in Brassard, Konopka and Lidstrom have all but dried up.

The Crunch have certainly had their chances to close out this series and have floundered. They get one more kick at the can to continue their season on Monday. The odds are in their favor but the boys have to come to play or they could find themselves golfing with their parent club in Columbus.
