The hockey gods are smiling down on the Jackets tonight!
The Chicago Blackhawks just beat the Nashville Predators in regulation by a final score of 4-2.
If my math is correct, the Nashville loss puts the Jackets within 1 point of guranteeing their first ever playoff berth.

I hate to be the Grammar Nazi, but the correct word is "berth". It might be the birth of a new era in Jackets history, but their berth is 6th place in the West.
Is that the PROMISED LAND I see before me?
That one is certainly worth mentioning June.. I'll correct.
