The Blue Jackets come into Week 4 losers of three of their last four games, including two of the three contests they played last week. The club's power play was nowhere to be found in Week 3, going 0-for-8 in its two losses to the Rangers and Wild.

The heightened expectations for a Columbus team that has never made the playoffs include goalie Pascal Leclaire finding a way to stay healthy – something that has been a challenge for the improved netminder. He injured his ankle Saturday and is now on injured reserve. Don’t be surprised if the move to develop Steve Mason is accelerated.

After 3 straight losses there is no suprise that the Jackets continue to slide in the rankings. This week its the Dispatch boys who have them the hightest at 25 (suprise right?) and TSN who has them the lowest at 29.
The Jackets will have 2 more shots this week to move up but it won't be easy as they face both Chicago and a streaking Colorado.
