With the win last night the Jackets improve to an incredible 18-9-1 record at home. During this critical stretch at home coming out of the All Star break they are now 5-2.
Though 55 games last season the Jackets were 25-23-7 and trending down. This season through 55 games they are 27-23-5 and trending up.
What's even more interesting is that the Jackets played 55 games last year by Feb 5th. It took them to Feb 13th to get that many games under their belts this year.
I guess that explains the schedule crunch they are in right now with (including Detroit) 5 games in 7 days.
