You know, who's ass would Lucic need to beat in the Olympics?
ReplyDeleteI loooove Looch, it's good to see him get that recognition.
Yep that's pretty good news... but let's face it we are all thinking about the Nash comments.. I really wonder what that first offer from Howsen was... I would love to know... I just can't see Howsen low-balling him that badly... I am guessing 5 years x 7.0 - 7.5M ...(Gaborik is 5 x 7.5yr.. Hossa $5.2 x 12yr)... IF nash is willing to take the same identical contract as Hossa I am all for it.. you think he's honestly thinking OVIE money ??
ReplyDeleteBTW here's the list of most expensive singings this UFA season..
Gaborik, Marian $37.5M 5 $7.5M
Bouwmeester, Jay $33.4M 5 $6.68M
Sedin, Henrik $30.5M 5 $6.1M
Sedin, Daniel $30.5M 5 $6.1M
Cammalleri, Mike $30M 5 $6M
Niedermayer, Scott $6M 1 $6M
Hossa, Marian $62.8M 12 $5.23M
Havlat, Martin $30M 6 $5M
Gionta, Brian $25M 5 $5M
Thomas, Tim $20M 4 $5M
Komisarek, Mike $22.50 5 $4.5M
Booth, David $25.5M 6 $4.25M
Antropov, Nik $16M 4 $4M
Thanks for those stats eplagge.. I'm gonna ammend those stats to the recent Nash post..
ReplyDeleteAs I stated in the post.. it's really hard for me to draw a conclusion on Nash's intentions without knowing that offer..
I will say in general terms my feelings right now though if the follwoing:
Howson offer < 7.0 == Howson lowballed
Howson offer >= 7.0 == Nash wants out
