The Ohio State men's hockey team are suffering through a miserable season to this point....well last night perhaps that misery is coming to an end as the unracked 3-10-1 Buckeys knocked off the #2 ranked Michigan Wolveriens in a game in which they were outshot 30-16.Ohio State senior Tommy Goebel scored 2 unnassisted goals with freshmen Sergio Somma notching the other. Goaltender Joseph Palmer made 28 saves.
This season is basically lost for the Buckeyes but this is the kind of win they can certainly build from as they look to close out this year strong and move into next season.
The Buckeyes face off again against the Wolveriens in Ann Arbor tonight at 7:35.
